Let’s face it moms, we all go through some sort of an identity crisis when we first become a mother. In a matter of months, we become responsible for the life of a tiny human being. We do a lot of preparation for before and when the baby comes to make sure we are ready to be moms. However, one thing we do not do is prepare for how much our individual identities change as a result of motherhood. Some of us eventually lose essence of who we are and lose our identity in our roles as mothers.

Jenny is a Career Mom. She is a mom to a 2.5 year old son, married to her husband for 7 years and has had a career in corporate America with a fortune 100 company for over a decade. After Jenny had her son she was so unprepared for the identity crisis she experienced when she returned to her career. It was that experience that led her to start her podcast, Career Mom, where she has conversations with working moms about the joys and challenges of raising child while juggling careers. Being a mom is hard. Having a career is hard. Doing both is REALLY hard!
