Beep! Beep! Beep! It’s early in the morning. Your alarm goes off. You get out of bed, get showered, dressed, take a quick peek in mirror, say goodbye to your loved ones, and go to work, school, or start your day working in the home.
How many thoughts have you had at this point? Probably ten (or more). They most likely went something like this: “I’m tired. I’m sleepy. I’m too fat. I’m too skinny. I’m broke. I’m overwhelmed. I’m stuck at a dead end job; I’m never going to find another job, I’m never going to graduate. I’m never going to keep this house clean, etc.”
It’s easy to wake up and automatically start thinking negatively. Negativity surrounds, encompasses, and is found in almost every area of our lives. Through life experiences, messages we heard from others and/or told ourselves, we have been programmed and conditioned to think negatively.
Mamas: It’s time to STOP letting negative thinking control our lives!
“Whatever follows your “I AM” will come looking for you.”- Pastor Joel Osteen
What follows the I AM will always come looking for you
Your words and your thoughts, give an open invitation and open the door for what you will attract to and give permission to enter your life.
You have a choice. You get to choose what comes looking for you.
Send out some new invitations to your life and attract some positive energy and get some good vibes coming you way.
Get up in the morning and invite good things into your life.
As long as you think negative, negativity will find you. If you have poor thoughts, you will be poor. If you think tired, you’ll be tired. Insecure thoughts will drive confidence away.
Proverbs 18:21 states: “Death and Life are in the power of the tongue…”
Imagine how your life can be transformed by simply switching your thinking from negative to positive. You have power in your own tongue, in the words you speak. The words you say, the thoughts you think and speak have great power. Imagine what blessings and abundance you can unleash by turning off the negativity. Instead of thinking poor, think rich. Instead of thinking lack, think blessings. Instead of thinking weak, think strength.
It is time to speak life into yourself. Unleash all the blessings God has for you. Stop cursing your futures and start blessing them. Your situation may not be ideal. You may be going through some trials and tribulations but Romans 4:17 says for us to “Call those things that are not as if they are.”
Speak life. Speak victory.
You may not immediately see change. Initially, you may not even believe the positive thoughts, but sometimes you have to fake it until you make it. If you think and speak it, eventually you will start to believe and see it.
It is not easy to change your thought process, but it can be done. You must renew your mind and redefine your womanhood according to God. You no longer have to live as others say. You no longer have to be victim to the negative mentality, thoughts, and seeds planted by yourself and others. You are what God says we are. No one but GOD can define you.
Remember, you are what you think. Every morning, find something to be grateful for. Find something positive to declare and decree over your life. Have an attitude of gratitude. Invite good things into your life. When those negative thoughts creep into your mind, cut them off with positive “I AM” statements. Walk into your destiny and into your purpose as defined by GOD.
